Who said newbies in competitions can’t set their grounds in bagging the the 1st Runner-up for the PHISMETS National Dance Competition 2018 last March 10, 2018, Centro Escolar University – Makati proved that “Escolarians Make A Statement In Anything That They Do.”

The National Board of Philippine Society of Medical Technology Organization held its annual celebration of the PHISMETS National Student Assembly at the Manila Central University Centennial Gymnasium where delegates and participants for the different activities were estimated to be at approximately 3,000 individuals whose bought their indestructible ‘university spirit’ in support to their candidates and friends competing at the said event, and of those including the Mr. & Ms. PHISMETS 2018, Laboratory Clash Olympics, and the National Dance Competition.

Being one of the few entitled university to be acknowledged by the National Board of PASMETH-PHISMETS Nationals, it has been truly an overwhelming feeling for this year’s batch of officers, student body and faculty members to be invited to take part in 2018’s one-of-the-books experience for every PHISMETS member. The representatives from the Medical Technology Department were set to be participants in the Dance Competition as well as in the Laboratory Clash Olympics wherein the highlight of the activity was to compete using the laboratory skills employed by the medical technology students with a twist of minimal theoretical questions throughout the run of the competition for each medical technology core subjects. It has been truly an overwhelming experience for the participants to give honor to Centro Escolar University by bringing home a definite pride in the first few months of 2018 and creating a mark in the National Competition and leaving an inspiration in the hearts of every individual who was able to witness a piece with fifteen dancing souls put to flame by motivation and passion in doing what they do best, and that is dancing.
