LADDERIZED PHARMACY PROGRAM
FOUR-YEAR PROGRAM LEADING TO THE DEGREE BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN PHARMACY
This is a four-year outcome-based program with a total of 215 units. The program offers a good mix of general education courses, which is of relevant application in the Pharmacy profession and professional courses that will help prepare the graduates ina acquiring competencies necessary in the workplace. It also includes pharmacy practice experience/ internships in the last year of the program where students will be assigned to different CHED-accredited affiliation establishments covering a period of 1200 hours distributed as follows: 300 hours in community pharmacy, 300 hours in hospital pharmacy, 300 hours in pharmaceutical industry, 120 hours in institutional pharmacy, and 180 hours in public health and regulatory pharmacy.

FIVE-YEAR PROGRAM LEADING TO THE DEGREE BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN CLINICAL PHARMACY
This is a five-year pharmacy program with a total of 263 units. The program requires the completion of the BS Pharmacy program and an additional of one year is required to earn the degree Bachelor of Science in Clinical Pharmacy. The fifth year level offers courses which is a more patient-centered practice in the delivery of pharmaceutical care. -
SIX-YEAR DOCTOR OF PHARMACY (PHARM.D.)
This is a six-year program leading to the degree Doctor of Pharmacy with a total of 309 units. The program requires the completion of the 5-year BS in Clinical Pharmacy program. Additional of one year is required to include a 1500 hours of advance pharmacy practice experience in community and hospital setting on rotation sites.

2-YEAR POST BACCALAUREATE DOCTOR OF PHARMACY (PHARM.D.)
The program is a 2-year post baccalaureate program leading to the degree Doctor of Pharmacy. It requires completion of 96 units of formal course work inclusive of 36 units pharmacy practice experience in clinical setting on rotation sites.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES
The Pharmacy Curriculum aims to provide globally competitive pharmacist, who are scientifically competent, technically skilled, caring, and responsible professionals, able to deliver the full spectrum of pharmacy services required in the different setting of pharmacy practice. The school is committed to the development of pharmacy graduates who can:
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of concepts and principles focusing on patient-centered pharmacy practice;
- Practice operative interpersonal, intra-professional communication and collaborative skills in providing pharmaceutical care and patient counseling;
- Perform efficiently and effectively responsibilities and task in any area of pharmacy practice;
- Design pharmaceutical care services program integrating innovative business/ entrepreneurial strategies;
- Conduct scientific research leading to the development of drugs for prevention, diagnosis, mitigation, treatment of diseases or medical conditions and contribute to the acquisition of new knowledge in the practice of pharmacy;
- Practice the profession consistent with the ethical, legal, social, economic standards of the pharmacy profession;
- Engage in a self-directed lifelong learning.

Laboratories and Facilities
- Pharmacy Simulation Room
The Pharmacy Simulation Room, located on the fourth floor of the Gil Puyat campus, serves as the initial practice site for Pharmacy students to make themselves familiar with the operation of a drug store, the different drugs available in the market including their dosage form, and their use and storage. It is also where the students practice the services rendered by a pharmacist to their clients such as patient and medication counseling. - Pharmacy Manufacturing Laboratories and Instrumentation Room
The Pharmacy Manufacturing Laboratories (603 and 703) are specifically assigned for the Department of Pharmacy. In these laboratories, the students develop their excellent skills in their chosen field. Well-maintained equipment and instruments used for research and instruction that conform to the course requirements are housed in instrumentation rooms. HPLC, Dissolution Apparatus, Plantar Apparatus, Phletysmometer, and Friabilator, among others, are provided for hands-on exercises so that students will fully acquire the needed skills in the Pharmacy practice.
