Academic Programs
BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INTERNATIONAL TOURISM AND TRAVEL MANAGEMENT (BSITTM)
Program Description
This program is a ladderized curriculum that provides students with skills and competencies that will enable them to secure a certificate and later on a diploma that will help them be equipped with skills needed in the industry.
- One-Year Program, the student will receive a Certificate in Tourism Promotions Services
- Two-Year Program, the student will receive a Diploma in Tour and Travel Services
- Three-Year Program, the student will receive an Associate in Tourism and Travel Management
- Four-Year Program, the student will receive a degree on Bachelor of Science in International Tourism and Travel Management
The program is granted Level II Accredited Status by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) as certified by the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP).
Program Outcomes
A graduate of International Tourism and Travel Management degree should be able to:
- Communicate effectively in carrying out the varied roles of local and international Tourism Management practitioners.
- Execute tourism and hospitality tasks in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment in accordance with the international qualification frameworks.
- Apply problem solving and critical thinking skills in making decisions related to the functions in the tourism and hospitality industry.
- Practice professional and ethical standards in delivering customer service to function effectively in the tourism and hospitality industry.
- Utilize appropriate technology applications specific to the processes and services in the tourism and hospitality industry.
- Lead in advocacy programs of tourism and hospitality management to contribute to the improvement of quality of life.
- Organize local and international tours in compliance with the respective tourism jurisdiction.
- Conduct insightful research to address the changing needs and concerns of the profession, the industry and the society.
- Design innovative marketing programs in promoting the tourism and the hospitality industry following the national and the international standards.
- Evaluate existing and potential tourism sites in terms of adherence to the principles of sustainability, preservation of biodiversity and socio-cultural impact.

Laboratory and Facilities
- CEU Computer Laboratory
The quality of teaching and learning can be improved by introducing a more effective use of software in the computer laboratories. The computer laboratory, where students use the Amadeus Reservations System, is equipped with fast internet connection and the latest units. The students can practice booking airline tickets and check the status of flights using the system.
- CEU Front Desk Counter
The CEU Front Desk Counter is a mock desk that serves as an interactive training hub for students to develop their service quality and soft skills in hotel reservation, guest registration, check-out process, and the practices of night audit. The students mastering behind the mock desk are trained in manual and computerized guest cycle procedures.
- CEU Travel Bureau
The CEU Travel Bureau gives the BSITTM students the opportunity to learn first-hand operation of a travel agency.
