CEU-Makati Students Bag Awards in 2nd Young ASEAN Medical Lab Scientists Research Conference

CEU-Makati’s Department of Medical Technology was represented by student researchers to the 2nd Young ASEAN Medical Laboratory Scientists Research Conference held at the Trinity University of Asia, Quezon City on May 14, 2019.

The poster presentation entitled, “Antibacterial Activity of Crude Extract from Soybean Seeds against Streptococcus Pyogenes” baffed the first place done by the following students: Ruffy Bonhoc, Alyssa Maye Bordon, Danielle Louse Daluz, Shiela Ann Kobayashi, Jhella Mae Lubang, Ma. Fhiel Palmiery, Nicole Maye Sarmiento and Stacey Clarisse Hope Silan.

On the other hand, the oral presentation entitled, “Hemagglutination Properties of Wild Daisy and Ironweed in ABO Blood Sugar” landed in third place. Researchers were Sarah Mae Abanes, Yuva Ayra Marie Adaya, Kyle Edgar Flores, Michaellasachi Mizuno and Harvey Joseph Parada.
